Heading back

Just checked in at Adelaide.

Got to wait about an 1.5 hours.

It was either hang around the hotel or the QANTAS Club.

The Club is nicer.

Got another wait in Melbourne for 1.5 hours. On the way from Melbourne to Adelaide the automated checkin system offered me an earlier flight but I declined and it was better as I had to wait over an hour for the hotel to get the room ready.

I was there before the normal checkin time.

I checked this morning to see if there was an earlier flight from Adelaide to Melbourne so I could connect to the earlier Hobart flight but no luck.

Ozcomiccon 2015 Sunday

Just collected my last photos from yesterday

Just been to the first talks of the day. Laughed through most of the panels.

The first was Billy Boyd who had his large audience laughing a lot.

The second was Agam Darshi (Kate) and Jonathon Young (Tesla) from Sanctuary. They are so funny together after doing several conventions together.

Jonathon also gave a great scene from hamlet.

Very interesting people.

Went to the Q&A with Marina Sirtis (Star Trek) and Dominic Keating (Enterprise). A few choice words were said by guests but they everyone laughing.

Queued for the Women of Buffy talk but it was running at least 25 minutes late due to the previous talk running late. Gave up and went to get my last autograph (Billie Piper) and then 3 photos (Sanctuary Duo,Michael Shanks and Billy Boyd) in 15 minutes.

The photos wouldn't be printed for at 30 minutes so I can pick them up tomorrow morning. Walked back to the hotel (about 10 minutes). About to go to dinner with Agam Darshi and Jonathon Young.

Adelaide Friday

Went shopping in Adelaide. Didn't buy much (just a tie and polo shirt).

Got some rest in preparation for the evening VIP party at Ozcomiccon.

Great evening with all of the guests.

Monday

Went shopping in CBD.

Tuesday

Caught the train out to Melbourne Zoo. Great day seeing the animals.

I think some of the animals are observing the humans rather than the humans observing the animals.

Wednesday

Went to the aquarium in the morning and then on to the immigration museum in the afternoon.

Both were quite interesting.
