Arrival in London

Arrived in London. Not a bad flight from Dubai (only 6:45)

Supper on the aircraft - They fed us again just after take-off

Tuna Salad with some cheese (Just out of shot)

and breakfast (Scrambled Eggs,Baked Beans and Potato Rosti  with Coffee) about an hour before landing in London.

The landing at Heathrow was in heavy cloud and we came out of it just before landing.

QANTAS arranges for its business class traveller to go through the fast track border control and this only took about 10 minutes waiting in the queue and 30 seconds with the official.

Had to wait 30 minutes to collect my luggage and then went to find my ride into London.

Found the  limo driver (IPad instead of cardboard sign) in the arrivals lounge and it was a nice ride into London except for the traffic. I am never going to drive a car in or around London (maybe outside London).

Got to the hotel.

As I arrived early morning they had not got the room ready.

As I had plenty of sleep on the plane I felt wide awake so I decided to go and sightsee.

Dragged out my oyster card and recharged it at Earls Court Underground and rode down to Victoria (Not bad for food shops) and then found the same bus tour that I took last year and decided to take a tour around London before going back to check in at the hotel.

Just had a good nights sleep. Woke up early as my body clock had not completey reset yet.
