These two exhibits are in the foyer. Bessie from the Jon Pertwee era and a Dalek.
They seem very well organised in that all the staff I saw had radio's and headset to make communications very easy.
The actual experience is in two parts.
The Interactive tour which involves a story in which video of Matt Smith is used and sets such as the TARDIS and a nice little adventure. It is really worth the time and money.
They don't allow photography on the adventure part of the tour so as not to spoil it for future patrons, so I won't post any details here either.
They have about 20 people on each adventure.
At the end of the adventure there is the exhibit.
The last thing I did was to get a photo taken. They have a setup with a green screen and can put you into a variety of sets from Doctor Who. I chose the console room.
You can see the final result on a monitor so you can position you hands on TARDIS controls that aren't there and point a sonic screwdriver. They take multiple photos and you can choose which one is the best and pay the 10 pounds for a print and they also email you the digital photo.
The setup is certainly very well done.
So here is the photo.
The exterior of the Doctor Who Experience.
